Stand out from the crowd
HomeHak helps tenants stand out from the crowd by giving them a tool to showcase why they would be great tenants: the HomeHak Tenant CV. With a bit of effort, you can impress every time you apply for a property. While others submit plain emails, at HomeHak, you have the opportunity to provide a professional and attractive Tenant CV.
We have prepared this FAQ to show you how to make a good first impression.
Be found by landlords, homeowners and letting agents
There is no need to constantly apply for available houses, as HomeHak works for you 24/7. You don't have to stress about missing an ad on a property website, as landlords and letting agents can select you at any time.
Uniquely with HomeHak Tenant selector, landlords and agents can apply to you for their properties. You can outline what you desire in a home so you can be offered what you need. In addition, tenants are selected based on their home needs and overall organisation, not just based on who applied the quickest.
Let your connections help you get selected for a home
With HomeHak, you can share your Tenant CV with friends, family and coworkers so they can distribute it. Having your network help you with your home search will increase your chances of finding a home.
People hear about a vacancy or when someone is moving out before a property is advertised. You want your Tenant CV to be given to a landlord, homeowner or letting agent before they think about advertising a home.
To share your HomeHak Tenant CV:
- Click on your profile picture at the top right corner
- Then, click on "My Tenant CV Public Version"

If you want people to see your Tenant CV because you are actively searching, your home-search status cannot be hidden.

Apply for properties as a ready-made household
Our co-applicant feature allows you to join your Tenant CV with like-minded people so you can apply together as ready-made households like Hanna and her friends. You can find more information in this FAQ.
Connect with verified landlords and letting agents
Every landlord or letting agent who advertises a property on HomeHak must verify their identity with Stripe Identity, which involves presenting their passport or driving licence. This helps to discourage "fake landlords" or "fake agents" from advertising a property that does not exist.
Employers can help you get selected for a home
On HomeHak, employers can support their employees in their home search by subsidising their HomeHak membership.
To increase the visibility and, therefore, the chances of getting selected for a home, employers can also create a HomeHak page for their company where to promote their staff’s Tenant CVs. HomeHak employer pages will display the HomeHak Tenant CVs for the employees who need a home.
Team members can now share their HomeHak employer page with their landlords when they are planning to move away, so their coworkers can be considered for the vacancy.
